Overview
All app-level settings live on the Settings page in the Spectre Reviews AI sidebar. This page describes every option and what it controls.

Review moderation

| Auto-publish reviews | Toggle | Off | When enabled, new reviews go live immediately. When disabled, reviews start as Pending and must be approved manually. |
Email notifications
Spectre integrates with Shopify Flow for review notification emails. Click Enable Review Notifications on the Settings page to open the pre-built Flow template. Once activated, you'll receive an email whenever a new review is submitted.
Review request emails
These settings control the sender identity for review-request emails.

Domain verification:
When you enter a custom email address, Spectre creates a domain in the email service and displays DNS records you need to add to your domain:
- SPF record — A TXT record that authorizes the email service to send on your behalf.
- DKIM records — CNAME records for email signing.
After adding the records, click Check Verification to confirm. The status will show as Pending, Verified, or Failed.
Note: Until your domain is verified, review request emails are sent from the default Spectre address.
Spam protection

When both keys are provided, the review submission form on your storefront will display a reCAPTCHA challenge before allowing submission.
AI analysis (Pro and above)

The settings page also displays:
- Credits used — A progress bar showing how many of your monthly credits have been consumed.
- Plan info — Your current plan tier and credit allocation.
SEO (Pro and above)

| Enable Google Rich Snippets | Toggle | Off | Adds JSON-LD structured data to product pages so star ratings can appear in Google search results. |
Rich snippet data is synced to Shopify product metafields whenever reviews are added or updated.
Review syndication (Pro and above)

When a feed is enabled, its URL is displayed with a Copy button so you can paste it into the respective merchant dashboard.
