Spectre Form Builder offers three plans so you can start free and upgrade as your store grows. Billing is managed through Shopify—you choose or change your plan from inside the app or your Shopify admin.

Limits and overages
- Forms — On FREE you can have only one form. Starter and Pro allow unlimited forms.
- Fields — FREE is limited to 12 fields per form; Starter and Pro have no field limit.
- Submissions — The monthly submission count resets each billing period. If you exceed the limit, new submissions may be blocked until the next period or until you upgrade. Check the app for current usage and limits.
- File size — Each uploaded file must be under the max file size for your plan. Larger files are rejected.
- Storage — Total stored file size across all forms cannot exceed the plan’s total storage. Deleting old submissions (and their files) frees space.
Upgrading increases these limits; downgrading may require staying within the lower tier’s limits (e.g. number of forms or submissions).
Free trial (Starter & Pro)
Starter and Pro include a 7-day free trial. You’re not charged until the trial ends. If you don’t cancel, your chosen plan (monthly or annual) starts at the end of the trial. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from the app’s billing section, which uses Shopify’s billing system.
How billing works
- Plans are managed by Shopify. When you choose a paid plan or change plans, you do so through the in-app billing flow or Shopify admin. Charges appear on your Shopify bill.
- Annual billing — Pay once per year for Starter or Pro and get 17% off the monthly equivalent.
- Switching plans — You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes typically apply at the next billing cycle; the app or Shopify will confirm the exact timing.
