Analytics
Track form views, submissions, conversion rates, and performance
Analytics
Spectre Form Builder includes built-in analytics so you can see how often forms are viewed, how many people submit, and how they behave. Use the Analytics section in the app to get a store-wide overview or drill into a single form.
Overview dashboard
From the app sidebar, click Analytics to open the main dashboard. It shows:
- Total views — How many times your forms were loaded (across all forms)
- Total submissions — How many responses were submitted (across all forms)
- Conversion rate — Submissions divided by views, as a percentage
- Trends — Period-over-period comparison (e.g. up or down vs the previous period)
A table lists each form with its own view count, submission count, conversion rate, and last submission date. You can sort by any column and use a date range filter to focus on a specific period.

Per-form analytics
Open a form, then click Analytics in the form's navigation to see detailed metrics for that form only.
The Pulse
High-level metrics for the selected form and date range:
- Conversion rate — Submissions ÷ views
- Completion time — How long, on average, visitors take from first interaction to submit
- Bounce rate — Proportion of viewers who leave without submitting
These help you judge whether the form is effective and whether to simplify or shorten it.
Conversion funnel
The funnel shows how many people move from one stage to the next:
- View — Form was loaded
- Started — Visitor interacted with at least one field
- Steps (multi-step only) — How many completed each step
- Submitted — Form was successfully submitted
Drop-off between steps highlights where visitors lose interest or run into issues.

Device and browser breakdown
See what devices and browsers visitors use (e.g. mobile vs desktop, Chrome vs Safari). Use this to make sure your form works well on the devices your customers use most.
Recent activity
A feed of recent events—new submissions, views, or other interactions—helps you see live or recent activity at a glance.
Submission and view trends
Charts show how submissions and views change over time (e.g. daily, weekly, or monthly). Adjust the date range to compare different periods and spot seasonal or campaign-driven changes.
Filtering and date range
On both the overview and per-form analytics, use the date range selector to limit data to a specific period. All metrics and tables update to match. Sorting the per-form table by views, submissions, or conversion rate helps you quickly see your best- or worst-performing forms.
